Lent is just over a week away as it officially starts on Wednesday, March 6th.  This year we have created a guide for lent.  In the guide, you will find scripture passages for the week as well as a simple prayer that can be a guide each day.  The guide will challenge us to think about fasting and almsgiving.  

On top of that, plans are being made as we observe holy week this year.  There will be a number of activities that week for people to choose from in our church and broader community.  We will have extra prayer and worship time.  A Good Friday brunch is being planned for after our Good Friday service and we will be involved in a community Easter egg hunt.  (Help appreciated!).   On Easter Sunday we will have a service of celebration.

Attention Ladies 

Just a reminder to all the ladies that there is supper potluck and games evening happening TONIGHT (March 1st), from 630 to 9 PM.  

Easter Dinner Boxes

Easter dinner boxes are available for those in need over this Easter season.  If you know of anyone who could use one, please invite them to call or email the office to register for a dinner box.

This Sunday we have Todd Lester coming as a guest speaker.  Todd works for the denomination and is the Director of Ministry Development & Operations.
